Spectrum:Stilt Dance Sunday June 12th 2pm
“We are the light we see in others.” Spectrum is a heart-opening stilt performance piece that aims to build community and empower, with a universal message of positivity and hope.
Through modern stilt dance, partner acrobatics, and original choreography, Spectrum features an all female cast of performance artists. This performance piece was created through experimental stilt work and theatrics, with influences of ritual dance, acro yoga, and improvisational dance techniques.
Original soundtrack by Tucson music producers Jyshua Pcalyps and Ian Browning. Accompanied by Vasanta Weiss (of The Bennu & Savitur) on vocals and harmonium.
